Abstract: Chibok, Nigeria, 14 aprile 2014. Più di 200 ragazze stanno riposando nel dormitorio della loro scuola, in attesa degli esami di fine anno. Nel cuore della notte i miliziani di Boko Haram fanno irruzione e le rapiscono, trascinandole nella foresta di Sambisa. Come loro, a centinaia sono state risucchiate nel buco nero della Storia. Sono le "ragazze rubate". A parte le loro famiglie, quasi nessuno sa chi siano. Per il mondo sono un numero senza volto. Eppure tutte hanno una vita, genitori, fratelli, amicizie e progetti. Rebecca, Dorcas, Monica, Hajara, Rifkatu, Ruth, Hauwa: sono sette delle ragazze rubate, solo sette fra le centinaia di vite spezzate in Nigeria in quel mese di aprile.
